4 1/2 on the gauge. Phil's hole was very wide but the Horseshoe holes were flushed, making the rapid less intimidating. We had fun doing the little Staircase run at Garvin's, but this level was the minimum needed to do it, anything lower and you have to walk it...

Corner wave was probably surfable. Right-side Horseshoe was a nice wide green wave and the S-bend hole is always friendly. If you could catch them, there were nice waves at the bottom of Garvin's and at the top of Upper No-Name. Not much else in terms of play. An other group that did the Main Channel said that they could only play at the top of Butcher's Knife.

The water is cooling down, soon we'll need hoods to keep the brains functionning when under water...

I plan on going.
If not at the park and ride I'll meet you up there.

I'm likely in. The levels are scheduled to be dropping:

but, I imagine that still means the Middle for a bit.

It's definitely playboat-friendly. Depending on the actual level, there are a few nice playspots along the way. --C.

Count me in Christian!!

Would you recommend a playboat at that level or something a little more "confident?"

Some of us are interested in doing the Middle Channel Monday, start time TBD. Who's interested? Weather will be sunny but brisk; dry top required but otherwise the water is still warm enough for bare hands and helmeted heads. The level was at +10 today, still a bit too high for Iron Ring for instance but fun for Little Trickle, which would be seen for the first time this year for most of us! For those who might be wondering, McKoy's rapids at +10 (and above) is actually easier than at lower levels. Cheers! --Christian
