Women Canoeists will be delighted to hear that WC2 500m will now be an official event at the Canoe Sprint World Championships, as will Women's C1 at the Canoe Slalom World Championsh...ips. The Canoe Slalom vote saw an overwhelming majority of 67 for and just 5 against.
