Paul is pretty close. If recall the info that was posted with this vid originally, they claimed the river was running at 30 ft.

Gatineau wave at lucifer

Does anyone know the link to the video of the kayakers who did the gatineau river in late fall a few years back and surfed the lucifer wave, it was a pretty big wave, there was snow on the ground.The Gatineau river was in major flood level at that time. Somebody post it a long time ago on the club web site.
