Weekday paddling has so few opportunities to have altercations with rafts! We are winging it as far as our plans go, but will probably hook up with Adrian's crowd on Friday and then run the Gat on either Sat or Sun.

THe level was ~ -.5 on Wed., and -.25 today. it will be good tomorrow!

I will probably meet you at the campgrounds then around 2;30pm. I may even camp tonight since we are having a late start.

We are now looking to get away a wee bit later. On the highway (with stomachs full and bladders empty) nr Bayshore by 1:00. Leaving from MEC ~12:40
. Register at River Run, unload vehicle/camping gear, and then back out to the RR Gate or to the Put-in. ~2:45 at RR Gates or wherever then.

The level was posted as -2 today, and yup I'll update Robert assuming I can get a proper connection etc. at RR. Hope to BCNyah on Friday!

The Keeners are planing to be in Montreal tomorrow leaving us with more room on the river.

Sounds good. I have an appointment on early Wed. morning anyway to get my financial empire in order so that, including headshaking from the financial guy who knows stuff, shouldn't take all that long. Love to join for the bonfire. Can regale you with tales of the time my father tried to start a barbecue using varsol.

Level was -1.5 yesterday night. Babyface had a sweet surfers left shoulder but it was a bit flushy if you didnt carve fast and throw in a back sweep after a blunt!

Pushbutton is still fairly nice and Garb was stellar but crowded.

Hi Liz, I can't really throw out a final plan until later this evg after talking with Pipo and Linda, and the required boat outfitting etc. He barely drinks (she is a bit more respectable that way though) and that should keep us on track and ready for a mid-day departure tomorrow.

We are very likely to be wanting to run the whole thing and take-out at RiverRun as that is where we will be camping. Join us for the bonfire (fire ban signs will be burned) if you like.

I am looking to park and play this week so late Wed would work for me. I would run the river as well. Also am dying to run the Gatineau...What time Wednesday and where? Are you just going to Blacks?

Heading up to the Ottawa on Wed. afternoon with a couple paddling friends who are visiting from Vancouver. They are going to be in the region until Sunday and after a couple of days on the main, we may be looking for other stuff for the weekend. Probably the Gat., perhaps the Rouge.

Also interested in the Town Section of the Petawawa. With a bit of rain coming this week it may pump up to some sort of decent level.

Anyhow, Wed afternoon on the main for those who are interested. Probably meeting at RiverRun gatehouse (we'll be camping here) or Black's takeout for around 2. If the level holds near -1 some might want to do a mini-run from McCoys down to pushbutton.
