Well its pumping right now, just went and checked it out.

No ice that I could see, not even on the shoreline.

I might still go on sunday, but I have never been down it, so it will be slow going/scouting I guess.

Yeah, I can only make it on Sunday. How long do you think it will be running for? Possibly next weekend?

I might be in for a sunday run as well- never paddled the Mississippi before and looking for a good start-up run for the season!

I believe the level is to low right now. This section usually runs when all the lake ice melts.

I did it with Jim last spring around 23 april (easter) and it was fun!

The link bellow stated that it was around 35 CMS and now its 18 and up!

I like to go on that one  Saturday and discuss with the friends at Whisper and I send a email to Jim

quite interested.  Saturday's forecast is better, but Sunday more convenient for us (tandem canoe).

more concerned about knowing if all sections are open, rather than the level.

will keep watching to see what evolves.
