re. WT Take-out:
It was open today according to a good source on Boatwerks. He speculates that they may be closing it in the evenings in order top discourage camping there.

Hi, Martin, Peter & I were on the Ottawa this afternoon, Thursday, & the level was at  -2 1/2.

However we have some bad news, WT has put a gate up on McCoy's Road and it is padlocked.
We had a chat with a WT employee  doing the job with his backhoe & he told me that it was as a result of the fire that happened this past weekend at the Lorne's park & play access road.
Apparently there were some 'illegal' campers & WT doesn't want the same thing to happen on there takeout.

Might be a good idea to take-out at Riverrun.

Salut Cindy -

WT (Wilderness Tours) takeout is at the end of McKoy Road which is the first dirt
road right after River Run.   So far: moi, Adrien and limping Sandra.   

FYI - I will be staying up there for more of the same on Saturday.
