Carp river or jock river in barhaven. Otherwise, champlain. Or the petite nation where aquaventure is. Nice little class 1-2 park and play there.

A Good Spring Run for a Beginner?

I've got a friend who just got into whitewater kayaking late last summer. Bought himself a Dagger Nomad, well equipped... I was just wondering if there was a nice stretch of fairly easy creek style spring whitewater (Class I-II+) where I could take him to practice in the upcoming weeks that is not too far from Orleans, Ottawa. The stuff I do normally is just too intimidating for him right now. Any suggestions??  :)
