The land has been receiving more rain to the west and north of Ottawa than to the east today and that trend is forecast to remain into Friday evening. Maniwaki is under a rainfall warning:

Not so much forecast for the Fish's basin either.

Haute Tension involves a walk back up for every ride - but the rest of the river is HUGE when that wave is in, so overall, a very worthwhile experience.

I'm on the Sunday program, so here are my votes in order of preference (with qualifiers):

1. Gatineau (if Haute Tension is in)
2. Harrington Canyon & White Dog combo (if Canyon water levels are rowdy and Dogwave is in)
3. Early AM Minibus & Middle Channel run (if wave is in, and no icebergs)
4. Petite Nation & Harrington Canyon (if both levels are huge)
5. Champlain

What does everyone think?  What is the consensus?

Achigan
Bonniebrooke
De L'Ouest
Rouge Canyon at high water
Ottawa
Simon Polar Bears Club
Torrent Bellefeuille and Capri (although i suspect alot of wood)
Ouareau Les Capucines
Assomption
Petite Nation in flood (although that might be a short short run and bad idea for beginners)

Canyon and Ottawa run pretty much all the time and petite nation can be lapped in 45 minutes after another run sooo id prefer something else...And Canyon will most likely reach above 400 cms by the weekend if not 500... and at these levels it gets rowdy in there..

Achigan is slightly above recommended...
Les capucines is fun anywhere above 80.
De Louest could be combined with the Rouge...
Bonniebrooke and Simon are def at the top of my list...

Assomption is a bit further but could be fun...

What did you guys have in mind? Im currently working Sat at 5pm but trying to get out of it... Im keen for Sunday as well although I might surf at champlain, Minibus or Whitedog...
