I honestly have no idea.  I never check the level.  I just look at the river on my way to work and back and it looks like a gravel pit right now.

Thanks Jeff.  I think you paddle this one often - what do you think is a minimum level for intermediate paddlers?  25ish?

Interesting.  I ran it last September at around 40 and ran left on Lovers successfully twice.  I alos skipped Suicide, well, because it looked like suicide (ran the left creeky stuff instead).  I think I will wait for the level to go up before heading over there this summer.

I looked at it today and it's very low.  Not worth the drive from Ottawa.

According to Phil Kompass, it's always runnable but 15 might be pushing it. In comparison, the Rouge is still fun at 14 m^3/s. The Petawawa gets 'creekier' at lower levels, new lines and eddy hoping etc. Railroad rapid might be quite dry. In my experience, the lowest I've run it was at 40 m^3/s. Railroad rapid was quite tricky, and we all walked Lovers because it looked nasty (in fact we ran the left channel slide). But the right channel of Suicide was a nice drop. You might like it, but try to do two laps to make it worth it... If you go, let us know how it went!

Is the Town Run to low to run at 15 cubic meter/second?
