We're still on the fence, we're leaning towards going to Palmer during the CDB weekend a week from now. This weekend maybe the Middle, or something else. Depends on levels.

I'm going this year with my girlfriend.
She is taking solo lessons. Ill be river running. I think it should be good fun.
I was there last year (not during the Fest) and it was great. Camping and jam at night.

In the event's hey-day, it was the weekend not to be missed. They took a hiatus for a couple years.
At the present water level, the advanced clinics touch on creeking moves even though one really doesn't think of boofing on the 3 channels at Palmer .. and there appears to be a down river clinic on the Ottawa on Sunday

The Palmer Fest is more low key these days. Even though their FB page indicates the clinics are almost filled

Is it worth it? Unfortunately I can't answer that question.

I known the club is going to palmer rapid in two weeks,  but it's palmer fest next weekend. We've never been and we're wondering if it's worth it.
