Topic: Just joined, looking to paddle

Hey!

You just missed our prime spring season, but we do get out and paddle almost every weekend. Keep an eye on the forum for trips to be posted.

We usually congregate on thursday eve at whispers and make plans for the weekend. Some of us will got out before the pub and do some paddling at spots around town (pumphouse, petite nation, champlain, sewer wave etc...).

The next best time of year (IMHO) is fall creeking season in upstate new york. But there is almost always someone going to do park and play at the lorne or running the ottawa.

Hi CBDers, I just bought my membership after moving back to Ottawa and am looking to get out paddling.

I'm a decent class III/IV paddler, mostly interested in play boating and river running. I'm not able to drive right now so can't help with the shuttle but am happy to provide safety boating, good times, a few laughs and snacks. My schedule is very flexible.

Can't make it to Palmer this weekend but hoping to get out next week and regularly throughout the spring/summer.
