I'd be able to go on Tuesday too (anytime really). Would need to share a ride though. Is anyone going by Sandy Hill?

Here's the map location that Mark was trying to post

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=45.267245,-76.250417&spn=0.010451,0.018303&t=h&z=16

The center of the map is just about where you put in.

25 minitues from kanata park and ride , just out of Almonte  , a great place to practice river running/creeking skills, next weekend sounds good ,let me know if you want to head out  ;D.

not sure if this link will work , but just go to Almonte on google maps, take martin street north to the end and look on blakney road , you can zoom in on rapids. the one on the left is the main one that is pretty long , you just carry back up on trail.

I don't have a map but I think Mark actually has a video, or maybe it was Ray C.

Hi,

I've never heard of this run before. Where is it? Any info you could provide would be much appreciated.

Coulden't make the Black today so dusted off the ol' Micro 230 and went to Blakney  , lots of eddie hopping , holes etc... a little boof at the end of the run, great creeking practice , I imagine it will be up for a month hopefully.  There is a large strainer near the top , so was putting in just below this , you will see it if you go to where the main flow turns the corner at the top (walk over beaver dam)
A nice place for Paul to try out his 14th creekboat.
