That was a great idea though and a long time dream of mine. Kill it all day on Expo and then style the river. Maybe even have a bite to eat and a beer in-between on the North Side parking lot (with the plastic kayaks on our roofracks the wealthy wouldn't even know what hit them-Nooobody looking at their this-year-color Cayennes). Well...having said that, the spring at Tremblant is not in my plans this year, but should that fly and became a fixture, I could perhaps realize the dream of mine sometime in the future.

Another good section is the boul?. You start off at the boul? section of lac sup?rieur, then you drop in to the archanbault then finish with the diable. Very long section with lots of scouthing. You skip the flats by car pooling some sections. Some sections are very technical and you don't want to swim. Did it 5-6 years ago, the level was low to med. Some sections could be dangerous at very high levels.

Are you talking about the Class II section that snakes through near the village? It's continuous, so the ice is likely gone... However, in 2009 I did it in late April, and it was quite high. Good part is that the take-out is roght next to Le Scandinave SPA...

I will bring my gear with me, if it looks good on Saturday I will post to see if anyone is interested.  This river is one of the first to run in the Tremblant area every year and has a very short season. There is no flat water so the ice leaves as soon as the water rises.

Too early! Drove to the laurentians last year to run the achigan and all the runs were iced up bad!

I'm skiing at Tremblant this weekend and would be interested in paddling the Devils river on Sunday if anyone is interested. The river appears to be running as per the link below:
