Hi Andrew,
Levels of paddlers vary from year to year but you should have a decent roll. You will spend most of your time at Baby face, push button and Garb ( though water levels might be a bit higher this year, could be having fun on Dragon's tongue as well!).
If you've got your roll in big water, you're good to go. I had never been on Garb before Keeners and could barely front surf. By the end, I could spin on Garb and didn't want to get off...

Manny
P.s. Hope you can make it to M.A.C.K.Fest!

Thanks Manny, that's great info and definitely a push towards doing the program. Can I ask what level most of the paddlers were at headed into the program?

Yes, my husband and I did the program in 2010.  I would recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their playboating skills. We ran the river everyday the first week, went to Montreal over the weekend to run Lachine ( which was fantastic ), back on the Ottawa for the second week with a trip to the Seven Sisters with the youth keeners on the Wednesday. Had the opportunity to bungee jump for free, as well as a quick safety course one afternoon with ropes.  Ryan Whetung was our main instructor and Rafa Ortiz helped out for 3 days...awesome combo. Accommodation and food really good.
Our confidence skyrocketed after keeners and it shaped us into the paddlers we are today.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions. 2 of our club members will be doing it this year, as well as a good buddy from Ireland.

Has anyone tried this program or heard any feedback on it?
