Planning to paddle the Mississippi on Sunday. We will be taking our time, to enjoy the weather and also as some participants have not done the river before. So far, the group is all tandem open boaters, so we are slower than yakers in any case...

Meeting at the put in (just below Sheridan Rapids) at 11 am and having a late shore lunch while en route downstream.

Bill's usual caveat about spring paddling applies...
