Excellent! Yah I gave the weir a pretty good chance of being a go while there, but a closer examination of the landing zone is required. It is quite shallow there with perhaps sharp concrete blocks in the water; it is probably clean but look before jumping. The skimming landing would be taking one into the top of the first set of rapids with some speed, but that should be OK.  Getting above the weir could be difficult, but there are solutions for that.

Well I'm still interested in Farmer's Rapids and the Lower Gatineau (2 km run) if anyone has game sometime. So much so that I started up a blog to howl about it:
