Yep, so was I.

I'm talking about the falls right in Almonte. Has anyone else seen them? I think they are part of a hydro dam.

There are a couple big falls out that way.

Galetta has a huge one, and pakenham does as well, right in town.

I checked out the falls in almonte a while ago and it looked pretty burly.

I think I heard someone ran them a couple years ago.

We went out to the sugar bush on Sunday and went through Almonte. The flow on the Mississippi River  looked amazing as it went through the village. The dam/falls reminded me of Hogsback, may be a bit more extreme. I have never heard anyone mention this site. Is there any reason? Trespassing? Too dangerous?
