I participated only Saturday due to family commitment.
But I had the best outing of my little experience on the Ottawa river.
Enjoyed our group of paddlers, the rapids and my improved skills.
And definitively enjoyed the great company and food....and Sean's wine too.  ::)
Koudos to Darryl who sacrificed his Saturday's of paddling.
(I guess I just realized I now fall into the Fallen Viggen category...salmon, heuuummm!!! ;D )

Thanks to all who worked on the food and the more experienced paddlers who guided the least experienced ones.

I also heard through the grape vine that I lost my title of champion for story making about Little Trickle.
It was also great to see Tibor succeed in his efforts on the river...

Great potatos... I got a new lamp from the Coop. This one works great. Thanks for helping with the old one!
I'm glad I decided to run the Middle a second time with you and Ishtar, it was tons of fun.
Cheers,

Paul ;)

It was Saturday (late) afternoon, when we were having our last bit of fun, when Heather said it best...

"TO THE BEAST!!"

Thank you once again Darryl!

Thanks, Daryl.  It's so nice to have someone else cook. It tastes better!

It was up to it's usual excellent form as usual. Thanks to all the organizers, especially Daryll, for all the effort in making it a great beast feast.

Thanks Daryll for putting together another wonderful Beastfeast!

I'm sure that everyone had a much more fun time on the Ottawa @ 14.5' - what a perfect level:)

Thanks for a great meal Daryll. The beast was much appreciated and I am happy to have made it to my first beastfeast. See you all soon on the river.

Well said Kelly! This sure is an annual event not to be missed. Every year I am impressed with Daryll's dedication to the feast! Thanks Daryll - you rock! And it was lucky for the gang that the levels were so high!

This year was my second Beast Feast and as usual my schedule only allowed for the Saturday portion. Once again Daryll was already set up and working on the food as we arrived and he worked on through the day as the rest of us had a great paddle on the river. When we returned to camp there he was working still. The Beast, salmon, baked spuds and corn were delicious. The company was the best.

I'd like to thank all the experienced paddlers who come to these outings and keep things fun and safe for us less experienced paddlers and I would like to especially thank Daryll for putting the Beast into the Feast.  Thanks Daryll.
