I had also assumed that the whole course was off limits.  But yeah, if we can use the SRT students as target practice, all the better.

Since a real-life rescue would often entail rafts and other paddlers dropping in on top of you and adding to the carnage, we might as well make it realistic for them  ;D

You should come down on Sunday too Paul.  Put into use some of those river running skills that you're practicing!

Yesterday, MKC staff said that they were trainning at the botom of the course and didn't mind paddlers at the top of the course. Have fun creeking, don't break anything...

There's a MKC WRT 1 course going on there.  If you want to dodge throw ropes in the water, go for it.
