I spoke to my Britania, "GUY" and he told me that as long as we park just inside the premises, in their parking lot, but not as far as the lifting gate (which is broken right now...), there is no problem. So we can drive to the landing, put our boat down by the shore, leave paddlers there, out of sight, and ask that one or two drivers go back to the parking lot to park the cars. Reverse the process when done.

Hope this helps,

Paul ;D

ok thanks, I have never set foot on property of yacht club,I always do the walk around , I break no laws,  the put in and take out are public land," whats the deal with ,with-in" thats crazy , their property ends where the fence is ,   there are always tons of bird watchers parked at the takeout (public land),  I don't think they are allowed to look through their birnoculars at the yacht club though , it is an visual infringement of the laws of the sea. ;D

ps- no one wants to park on the premises , just walk through carrying a boat to the waves.

A teacher at my school has a boat at the Britania Yacht club and he told me that we are taking a certain risk parking within the yacht club property. Any Britania  member that sees us and challenges us as to why we are there and are we members? could call the authorities to have us ticketed because it is a private Establishment. Just so you all know..

Paul

PS I'll try to ask him to facilitate a permission to park on their premises, but I can't promise anything..

Hi Louis , how did you "have a look ", did you go onto the yacht club property?  Renny is going to inquire about access via their property, they'll probably say no but it can't hurt to ask.

I will probably go tommorow around 2 PM.

I should've checked earlier Louis, I was at the Pump House this afternoon, but would've gone surfing with you instead. Next time I'll check the site for messages before leaving... :'(

Anyone interested in going to BYOB this PM?
I had a look yesterday and it seems very well formed right now.
