I got the pants.
Not sure I will need the suspenders...I noticed the other day that I can still easily fit in my wedding pants from 20yrs ago.

So, we'll see.

Hi all.

Thanks Paul for communicating the website of the photographer who was there taking pictures. They are great! So colourful. Go take a look at them:

There's Paul in there too!

BTW, Louis: you have the Level 6 Current pants? The best addition I made to those pants is a set of clip-on suspenders. Now I don't lose the pants anymore after getting out of the boat a few times...

With that color, that muskrat must be a vedgie...too much poutine leftovers is my guess.

I went straight to Sewer wave. From Champlain bridge, saw some commotion by the wall; couldn't tell if this was lonely men chasing each other or mukrat activity.
And thenSewer must have been sinking since the rats had left the boat. At least none were in sight.

Had to bump over one single chunk of ice about a third the size of my kayak coming down the stream, but otherwise clear and a good start of the season for me. Back in the saddle!
Crowd went up to 6 paddlers for 15min, then down to 4, 3. So lots of surf time.
Great 2hrs workout, beats indoor exercise room any time...

We went to Champlain, the 2nd wave was starting to form, a friendly foam pile in two sections separated by green water. No recirculation in the eddy, and rope would be no help either.

Lots of floating chunks of ice below the wall. At some point a muskrat was resting on one of them, eating a fish. I wish I could have been closer to snap a picture. I think I saw him later stick his head out of the water, see below...

Paul, what was the photographer's website on the card in your windshield?
