Yesterday, 11 Cdeb kayakers managed to get their fare share of the 40% (and even better their 60%) split between the main and the middle channel.
We had sunshine over the lunch spot and then sheets were falling right after we packed and drove away after the paddling.
My first river run with the All Star; we're are still learning to deal with each other.
Like a true throughroughbred, she kicks back when not happy with the clueless driver.
Bruised thumb and hip to prove.
I have to adjust for a slower boat...especially while threading that McCoy needle.
And my home-repaired AquaBound is holding very well, thank you.
Maybe I should start a business there...Paddle repairman...with all those AquaBound breaking left and right...
Most of us elected to go through the middle channel while Mike and JacquesT went for fun in the main.
On a sad note, I might have infected Greg...he got to try my All Star at the lunch play spot.
Feels strange not to have Centrifuge pointy ends sticking out, right?
Access to surf waves was not all to easy.
I feel the slower All Star here, again.
Still I managed to catch Butterfly from surfer right after hopping over a rock garden eddy and circumventing the rightmost nasty looking hole.
But once on it, boy...felt like a Bronco ride. Hi HA!
Thank god, today, I can rest and recover at work...
