I'm still amazed at how many rafts are on the Ottawa even on weekdays during the summer.

Dave

Well since you met Wed @ 9 am on the river by 9:30ish, you are just ahead of the bubble. You get to see RR, OWL, WT all come down the river which normally get to McCoys around 10:30.
Although this season has not been the best for the rafting business, in between 10:30 and 11:30 am, all the rafting companies will be at McCoys.

It is only later in the day WT has trips .... on the hour every hour till 1 pm.

Take Eric Jackson's advice on paddling a busy river ... put on the river after the bubble.
We put on at 11:30 on the Wednesday ... saw one WT Family Float trip, another WT trip headed for the Main, and WT Kayak School just leaving McCoys when we got there.

It is supposed to be sunny and warm on Saturday.  Anybody up for Gatineau or possibly the Ottawa?  I'm still amazed at how many rafts are on the Ottawa even on weekdays during the summer.
