This is one take-out:
http://www.riverrunners.com/home.html It is a few bucks to park there, but it is nice and safe and they have real bathrooms and food. Just upstream is a free take-out, less safe and no facilities.
A few km upstream is the "put-in". It is marked with a (Yellow OWL Rafting??) sign, but I'll let others add the exact details, and maybe the street address.
From Aylmer, you can take 148 and cross back to the ONT side at Portage-du-Fort, and then turn right on Storyland Road (at the gas station and poutine stand).
(or cross to Ottawa at Champlain Bridge, and take 417, to the 17 and turn onto Storyland Road (just after Renfrew))
Follow the signs to River Run (about 26km from there) - mostly straight through the farmland, but one right-hand turn that is clearly marked.
PUT-IN

You can also walk back up around McCoys and paddle back to the put-in if you only want to do a park-and-play.
My best map-reading skills tell me that the access to the put-in is very close to the text "Rocher Fendu" in this link. McCoy's is just "East" of there. The round "almost-island" is the portage around McCoys and it is the set of rapids to the North (Sadler's Hole and Phil's Hole) and East of that (Corner Wave, Football Wave, Horseshoe, and Babyface).
There is a trip practically every weekend day that the water is at a reasonable level and the weather is at least "reasonble".
Join at group of paddlers and they'll show you the put-in.

p.s. OK guys (and gals!) - how did I do?
