Even though I think that Annie was most pumped about running Agers, I have to say that she styled funnel... and there was a lot of carnage that day on that rapid.

Also, right as she committed to it, Adrian decided to demonstrate the military style crash through the rocks upside down line then roll up right before the "must make move" line.

And I was indeed happy with my line at Crystal - thanks to Ray for showing me the best visual points so that I was on line. I wouldn't have run it if I wasn't sure of starting the first drop bang on.

I am trying to get to QCity for some paddling depending on levels.  If I don't end up there the Moose could be a real possibility.

I will know Friday likely.

Is anybody going?   Annie your story is inspiring. :)  I looked at the rock slide last year (fowlersville falls?) and it is pretty intimidating.  Good for you for running it!  I have to go back and run it some day.

This was really a fun weekend.

I went there with the intention of doing the lower section. Unfortunately, because of the lower level, nobody was up to run it with me. So I had to go to the bottom with the impression I would walk everything. I got to the first rapid and decide to run it. It was so scary. It is a big steep slide. Once you get in, the slide is way more impressive that it looks from shore. All the other rapid were also fun. I still can't believe I run all of them up to this big chute (I don't remember the name of the rapid). The biggest fall I did to this day. Thanks to Joanne to show me the perfect lines on all the rapids.

I'm very proud of myself. It was so much fun. Too bad so many people decide not to come. It is definitively worth the drive.

Moose was great.

Annie fired up the first half of the Bottom section and hit all her lines.

Joanne fired up all the rapids including a solid run on Crystal.

Massive crew.  Lots of beverages to celebrate a great day!!

Well, check my thread about doing a river a bit closer to home...

Well, well.
I just stepped in. Had great quality time with my older daughter in Montreal, playing beach VB together, but this has knocked me off the Moose.
I'll sleep and then maybe some park&play Saturday...??

-4C right now. Brrrr.

I'll head down Sat morning with intent to just paddle the Bottom on Sat.  What time are you planning on being at the put-in?  I'll show up a half hour later and wait for you ;)

The moose itself is maybe 3.5hr.  Old Forge where everyone stays is about another 1/2 drive past it. I'm driving down tomorrow, staying overnight.

Plan for me is to see what Bill says.
I am getting used to long drives, but won't go there if the lone driver.

Will be checking this thread later tonight after I arrived home.

Ok! My question:

It's a 4 hr drive to get there. Is anyone planning on making it a day trip? If not, we'd better leave tonight, which means hitting motels etc. Personally, since I need to be here Sunday, I find it a bit far...
