No problems Christian. Bill, Louis and I are still on. I just checked the weather for Beachburg and the weather is even nicer for this afternoon. We are pushing the RDV at Eagleston for 10:15am start. Any last minute takers call me on my cell at 613 864 1387

Cheers,

Paul ;D

Darn...

Such a good time at the Ottawa Writers festival, a bottle of wine (or two) later (it's almost 2am), and we're not up to the Ottawa...

Please enjoy the water! Hopefully we'll be paddling into the winter months!

Fantastic change of temperature for tomorrow according to the weather network for Pembrooke!!!! Probality of prcipitation is only 40% in the morning and goes down to 30% in the afternoon. The tendency is towards sunshine!!!

http://www.theweathernetwork.com/hourlyfx/caon0531/hourlytable/2

Time Temp. Conditions in Pembroke

8 am 9?C   Mainly cloudy :)
9 am 10?C   Mainly cloudy :)
10 am 11?C   Mainly cloudy :)
11 am 12?C   Cloudy with sunny breaks ;D
12 pm 12?C   Cloudy with sunny breaks ;D
1 pm 13?C   Variable cloudiness (means sun and clouds) ;D
2 pm 13?C   Variable cloudiness  (means sun and clouds) ;D
3 pm 13?C   Variable cloudiness (means sun and clouds) ;D
Evening Commute (4pm - 7pm)
4 pm 14?C   Cloudy with sunny breaks ;D
5 pm 14?C   Mainly cloudy :)
6 pm 13?C   Mainly cloudy :)
7 pm 12?C   Cloudy with clear breaks ;D

Cloudy with sunny breaks as opposed to rain which is predicted for the early morning (Total for the whole day is only 1mm and most of that will fall before noon, according to the Pembroke weather sation), so as we get on the water at around noon, there should be some sun for the afternoon and temperature of 12 to 14C for the day!

Hope to see you all tomorrow,

Paul ;D

Oh Paul, your flattery just has a way with people.
Sounds good. I really hope that you haven't jinxed it weather wise.  :)
10am at Eagleson sounds good.  See you and all the lovely people then!
Christian says to remind you about the sponge.  Must be quite the sponge.

Don't worry about your sponge Christian...It's safe with me!

I propose that we meet at the Eagleston Park and ride at 10am. If you need a ride, I can pick you up at 9:30am. I hope Bill, Louis and Larry (with his hot new playboat...), as well as a score of others will join us for possibly the last river run of the year. Why, I haven't heard of Don or Liz in ages..., not to mention Jim, Parham, Darryl and Tibor and who could forget the lovely Sandra K or Liz E or Ian (lovely too...), as well as Wendy or Sarah (all lovely...), Dave also comes to mind (all the Daves...). We could do a leisurely run of the Middle which is running at about 4 right now. The temperature is supposed to be about 15 Celsius, overcast, perhaps a few showers, but our luck has been tremendous so far (I hope I didn't jinx it...). Please dress warmly and bring a hot Thermos of your favorite beverage. We can retire to a posh hospitality establishment afterwards for some delicious poutine!

Hope to See you all there Saturday!

Paul ;D

I'll do anything to retrieve my sponge. And if McKoy's is portaged, it'll be going (back) up, not going down!

Christian and I are planning on paddling the Middle Channel Saturday. Nothing too early. Bill said he might be interested too. The level is nice and the lines pretty easy at this level. Mckoys can be skipped or portaged or run.
