Pick you up at 1:30pm? I just got a confirmation that my little thing will be at Greyhound bus station tomorrow morning. Got to pick it up and outfit it properly beforehand. Fortunately I still have my happy feet and some stern bags to go with it... Should be a piece of cake! I'll start a new thread so others are not confused and think this thread is still about last Saturday... See you tomorrow (1:30pm)!

I will let you know Christian. I'm still awaiting a very special delivery from Toronto tomorrow, which shall we say could make my paddling at Champlain that much more enjoyable than in my Blunt... I'll call you tomorrow when I know more.

Paul:-)

Hi All!!

I haven't been to any pool sessions, so I'm not ready to get into the moving water yet, but we might stop with a camera.

Are there any actual plans to go to Champlain (don't you all wish you had kept your long boats!!) or Sewer?

Sean

Sean,

Great seeing you and Narcissa last Saturday. Can you post your pics!!!

Thanks,

Paul :D

Well...

This was (partly) a test for drysuits. I will upload some photos of crazy swimmers soon. The level wasn't high, perhaps Sewer wave would have been better. But it was such a nice day, and we had spectators... In my playboat, I managed to surf the 1st wave twice, and the 2nd wave twice as well. I blew through the wave every other times... It was a good start of season.

Heard through the grapevine that some were indeed playing on the Champlain bump Saturday.
I stayed over in Montreal and attended the regular 2 hours indoor pool session, with Pat and Stef of CdeB fame.
I know a large CCKVM contingent went to Valleyfield on Sunday and tried their new Duo, but my cold gear is still in Ottawa...

i looked at champlain yesterday and nothing just a green bump, but sewer is very nice also its deep, and i cut lots of ice out of the eddy so there is only some ice on land
