This is mixed news. On the one hand, it's pretty much guaranteed that we won't play at Bate Island in 2010. On the other hand, if the level drops more, around 2.7 the so-called 'Remic' wave acquires an approximation of eddy access (after maybe piling up some rocks), and the wave directly below the Deschesnes ruins comes in. The latter has eddy access, although it can be quite tricky to get back up (but an interesting exercise in river reading nevertheless).
