The earlier start works well for me.  I'd be up for carpooling if it fits.  I'm west of town in Donrobin, so can meet at Eagleson or Westgate.  Not sure of how many are looking to share rides and how many will fit in cars.

I'm back off-line till this evening.

Bill, Mike,

Meet at Eagleston Park and ride at 8:30AM?

Paul

Since we're heading north as opposed to west, how about the Westgate Shopping Centre?
It's central and has lots of parking in the back.

I'm interested.  Can I suggest a meet time at Bonnet Rouge at 11:00AM? Carpool?

I need to get back to town fairly early, how about going with the usual time of 10:30 AM at Bonnet Rouge?

I'm up for the Gatineau on Saturday as well.  Be the first time this year actually.

Well, at this point sounds like there could be options for the Gatineau or the Main as Liz suggests.  Great!  :)  I'm going to see what interest and advice comes along in the next 2 days.  I think I might like to get to the the Gat, since there tends to be more options for running the Main.  Any suggestions out there?

I'm away from Thursday morning till Friday early evening with work and probably won't be checking on the forum in that time, so don't take my upcoming silence as lack of interest, I'll be back to sort this out Friday evening.

Anyone with any plans for running a river somewhere this weekend?  I've been messing around locally this summer, but haven't made it out for a weekend thing with the club since the Lower Mad at the end of May.  Ah, family life.. :)  I was plenty comfortable with the Madawaska in May, no wobbles  flips or swims, but don't have too much preference for this weekend.  Haven't run the Middle, Main or Gatineau before.  Kind of think one should do the middle before doing the Main, but could be convinced otherwise.  Not really interested in park and play, as much as seeing a bunch of the river.  Less crowds on the Gat maybe?

Any newer paddlers with similar aspirations this weekend??  I'd be hoping to go with folks who know the river better than I do.   Saturday works better for me, but could go either, or MAYBE both days (not counting on that though).

Peter

Hi Peter,

Saturday works for me and the Gatineau sounds good .

We can see if others are interested in the next day or so. Barring that, Bonnet Rouge will do a shuttle for a reasonable fee.
