Oh, and BTW... Benjamin and I are leaving Ottawa around 13:30 to go park'n'play, either at the Lorne or Babyface. Unfortunately he has to come back tonight to Ottawa. I would like to stay for the King of the Clubs Sunday, and I would be looking for a ride back to Ottawa Sunday night. Will anyone have room? Cheers! --?C.

Chrsitian! I have room in my truck! See you on the river sunday!

Liz, hope you are better! Are you already on your way to the Ottawa? I am suffering from an overdose of pre- and intrapubertal girls and think I have to escape at least one day this weekend...

I will do pretty much the same thing as Robert... No Rouge Saturday since club members need to be present Saturday evening to make a cardboard boat, and I have to give money to various people.

Monday some of us go to NY state to do a couple runs of the Taylorville section of the Beaver, check the American Whitewater Association website for details (http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/detail/id/2612/).

Here is mine: I will be leaving Saturday, sometime after lunch with intention of hanging around Pushbutton/Garb . I intend to camp at RR and might linger until Mon, but not sure.

I may join you guys in some capacity. I haven't been feeling well (again!) so I'm waiting to see how that pans out for the weekend. Where will you guys be and when on the weekend?

Dani,
Some members, Christian, Sara  and Robert might go Saturday to play on the Ottawa. They are probably camping overnight at RR, ready to paddle in KOC Sunday. I will be going to RR later Saturday, either late afternoon or early evening and coming back Sunday evening after KOC competition. Listen, the KOC competition is only as competitive as you make it. There will  be a lot of beginners there and safety will be first on the agenda.

Hope you can make it!

Cheers,

Paul

Sorry, I am confused. I would like to join somebody for something not too extreme (i.e. something similar to the Gatineau or the Ottawa Main) on at least one of the long weekend days, but am not sure what the actual plan is and if I would somehow fit in...
Cheers,
Dani

"It's a beginner's run, class III at most" isn't quite accurate.  It's a CIII+ run (with some IV-V lines), so let's be responsible and not imply it's a CII+ run.  Fun yes.  Best intro to creeking run, probably.  Not a beginner run.

Ooops. Sorry. The AWA has it rated at Class III-IV. My mistake. Certainly not Class II, but I never implied that either... --C.
