Yeah, the river is going off! Whoohoo! Will be there around 5:30 or so. --C.

Level will be at 59.0 by the time I fisnish work! Waves/Holes are gonna be AWESOME!

Even at 58.8 yesterday, the eddy would recirc. you back to the top! The should of that hole was also steep and real fun!

Tonight was great. The 1st wave held two boats pretty much all the time. Heck, I had at least two 15 minute-plus surfs! Good way to get a feeling for the carving abilities of your playboat. Plus the people at Whispers remembered us and brought us our 'team' nachos! The river now is strange because at this gauge value, there shouldn't be much and instead we get a nice green wave and a quiet hole-like 40-foot wide feature.   Cheers all! --Christian

Sunny, +10 degrees C, water slightly rising... and cold. Last Sunday, the front wave held up to four paddlers at a time, very friendly surfing. If you get off the wave voluntarily, you can paddle back up if you're fast enough. Otherwise, there's a rope. See you there! --C.
