As most of you know, I have moved to Montreal.
And joined the CCKEVM local club, but have not completed forgotten my good old friends - or not so OLD friends.
I shared the Booniebrook with 11 other CdB members this past Saturday;

The CCKEVM has a lot of members and some interesting features, like a membership card (to be presented when getting rebates at various locations or when participating in a number of activities), they offer courses, have cabane-a-sucre gathering and the sort along with many organized outing down rivers or at local surf spots.
They co-exist pretty well with the local rafting/kayaking services even though they have several beginners courses over the winter.
At the cabane-a-sucre event, a few Go Pro cameras and even a kayak (winner's choice of Jackson kayak in the Camp-de-Base store) were part of the raffle.
They also have a club journal, in French, published usually about 3 times a year.
These journals can be downloaded from here:
http://cckevm.org/journal_electronique.jspThe latest issue has a couple of articles from yours truly; one on the Upper Pet and the other on fixing H2O paddles.
BTW, the CdB is welcome to use my articles if a CdB journal were to be published.
Asta Luego!
