psst if you are looking for some 'company' for some Big Joe action I would love to join ya ... no canoe, promise ... and there should be enough room there to avoid collisions

;]

I'll be in Lasalle friday night so ... early Saturday would rock !

The CCKEVM is going to the Gatineau this WE.
Then 2 WE later, the CdB has the Beast Fest set (Aug 13-14).

I need to stick near by home on this coming Saturday due to family commitments in the evening.
So I plan to go surfing at either H67 or BigJoe earlier in the day.

Monday is not a holiday here in Quebec, but since I have been in the US for most of the last 5 weeks - and still am - I deserve a sick day...

For the rest of the weekend...

The Batiscan - Parc Section is a nice class IV that is still on.

My Montreal buddies did it recently (without me) during a weekday - so I should be able to get the key info out of them - there is a juicy hole on the last rapid that caught 2 good paddlers.
There is also the Du Loup another class IV/IV+ in swing now.

Good change from the regular destinations...

I'm off for the weekend, and would happy to go somewhere nice! Since I've never done the Rouge, this sounds tempting... Please keep me posted - either here or via dani.pohl@gmx.net or 613-6086471.
Thanks!

So... I just talked to Tibor and I will meet him at Champlain around 6 pm. I am bringing my Villain if anyone wants to try it! --C.

Gatineau and Rouge sound good too. I'll come to Whispers around 8pm, but no paddling tonight for me...

I will be at Whispers.  I was thinking of paddling tonight (somewhere - not sure where).  I took a walk to the Pumphouse at lunch.  Two kids were swimming the waves (run to the top, jump in, float down, repeat)...wish I were a kid!

Is anything happening this weekend???

Adam

I'll be at Champlain tonight.
As for this weekend, since a lot of folks have Saturday and Monday off, I was thinking about the Gatineau and the Rouge.

I'm not actually paddling this evening but will be at Whispers at 8PM!
Post here if you plan to attend or paddle beforehand.
