Just got off the telephone again.  John and Richard have withdrawn, to do some household maintenance task.

So if there is interest in paddling this afternoon, please phone me at 613 759-8348.

I'm also interested in Monday if this afternoon does not work.

I just got off the telephone.  John, Richard and I are going.  I've left phone msg for others of this thread with telephone #'s listed in their profile.   Planned Ottawa departure between 12:30 and 1pm.

Augh!

Lets put the trip on again.

With the revised weather forecast now being showers all day,  I'm now free to paddle.

Despite the high of only 22 degrees, the water is going to be warm.  There will little or no chance of sunburn.  Whether I get wet from the sky or playing in the river makes little difference.   Beachburg can expect less showers today than Ottawa.

I need 1 hour or less notice anytime after 11am.
for an Ottawa departure anytime up until 4 pm.
I'm willing to do a bicycle shuttle, or hitch hike the shuttle, or park and play.

For fastest response please telephone me at 613 759-8348.

Ok, since this seems to be the rainy Sunday I've been waiting for since many, many weeks to tackle the mess at home, and since nobody seems too keen to go anyways, I think I have no more excuses to fulfill my domestic duties... Have fun whoever is still going!

I'm no longer paddling Sunday.

With the weather forecast now changed to expect most, if not all rain, to be finished by Sunday 9 am,  I need to continue the carpentry work upgrading my roof rather than going out to play on the river.

Enjoy the day paddling!

I like the idea of a late departure as well! I dont plan on waking up at 8am tomorrow as I have a party to attend tonight.

I too am interested in paddling the Ottawa River, main channel on Sunday, and would like to car pool with someone, leaving my gas guzzler in Ottawa-Hull.  I can get my boat and equipment to a suitable car pool meeting place.  My preference is for a late departure to miss the crowds, but I'll flex with the others.  I live at 297 Lanark Avenue, NE of Churchill and Scott.   Easiest to reach me at 613 759-8348.

Hey gang

I've just got back from Champlain working on my roll still and I'm still not happy with it. I'll probably be doing pushbutton Sunday.

Great, yes, so why not the Main? And if you decide to come, we could maybe meet at your place again? Kelly, where do you live?

But where are you going? Main channel? The level is -1, and Pushbutton is at its best!

I'll decide tomorrow night if I can do a Sunday run too!

Hi Dani

I've just got the honda civic but it's great for two paddlers and their boats and stuff and super cheap. You are welcome to share a ride with me. I'll be home today 5ish - (819) 682 - 1693. Or I'll give you a shout.

If this is not an all-boys thing, I would love to join you, too!
Any car-sharing possible?
