Beats staying in bed...
Hold on, she IS stuck in bed.

Joke aside. Did the Diable today. Nice creekish run a bit low at around 12 with a few steps in class IV.
Long sections of II+.
No animals were injured or mistreated during that run.
Nice day in the sun.

I did the Booniebrooke last Friday before it cooled off including the waterfall section, at dusk after work.
A lot of people did it on Saturday including  Catherine Blanchette. She has her 2 ankles in casts and bolted now.

And the level might very well be too low now.

Ah, the joy of creeking...

ok, here are the goods news:

meeting point at 10:30 at St-Canut arena. (accross the street from Pizza restaurant)

The river is class III-IV. If the water level is high enough, we could run the first section also which is also call III-IV, but creek.
If the water is low, we could (correction, you could) run the last section (class IV-V).

No worries! It's kayak friendly and bilingual... At least for my friends! (some of you met Caroline and I on the Achigan)

Meeting point is in St-canut, last exit of highway 50, just before Mirabel AirPort (yes, it still exists).

We run the section that ends just after the golf course, but some might want to end with the last section.

More details coming up. (just after the commercials)

That means we would need to leave Ottawa around 6:30... A bit early!
