Ok, sign me up for novice/intermediate. Christian, I'd be totally in to go up Friday afternoon. Interested in car pooling? I can pay you for gas of course. My wife would prefer to keep the car but I can definitely take it if needed. She's somewhat used to me taking it. Btw, what time to people usually meet at Whispers anyways? I'd like to go tonight but don't think I'll be paddling.

Meeting place/time for the skills clinic will be at the Co-op at 12:30 to sign the necessary waivers
in advance of the clinic.  There is plenty of parking at the Co-op and it is a very short paddle to the
rapid.

Robert - I plan to organize a "Billy session" (Billy Harris - awesome whitewater instructor - see http://www.ottawariverkayakschool.com/)  later in the season on the Ottawa when Pushbutton and Garb are in.  Let me know what dates work for you. 

Also, there was some talk of a potential Wilderness Rescue Training course this summer.
Any interested paddlers please let me know your training/skills development needs for the season - we can typically get a club discount.

Hi Janet.

We will officially post all relevant information vey soon, including geographical coordinates and schedule of events. Essentially, we arrive at Jessop's campground Friday afternoon (if weather is nice) and camp there two nights but many will only arrive on Saturday. Friday evening: play in the rapids adjacent to the campground. Saturday afternoon: kayaking clinic with instructor from Paddlers COOP, 25$/person, 20 participants max; meeting place: Paddlers COOP (to be confirmed). Sunday: run the lower Madawaska river then go back home!

a) advanced 
b) novice/intermediate

Could someone from the executive post directions to Palmers and pick a suitable meeting spot for the clinic?  Thanks - its been so long since I have been there... 
If there's no objections I will set the clinic start time at 1PM.
