HA! You guys are pretty funny... All I need is one swim and I won't be so macho anymore ;) But yes, I'm heading up to the Petite Nation Sunday. So if anyone wants to jump in with me, there are two more spots available. Martin and I are alone at the moment. Leaving from Barrhaven, then over to Bank/Hunt Club area to pick up Martin then off to the Petite Nation.

Not flexible at all, as Sheila, my wife has given me Saturday for paddling & Martin wants to do Petite-Nation on Sunday with the macho-run-the-waterfalls crowd.

I would love to go with you guys, but can only paddle on Sunday.  How flexible are you on the date?

Martin and I have decided to do the Ottawa middle channel on Saturday. Looks like it will be a nice warm day, Renfrew weather forecast is 15 and sunny.
Meet at the take out for 10:15 so that we can arrange the shuttle, or (10:30 at the put-in if you are late). If anyone is interested in coming, let us know & maybe we can arrange a carpool or a ride.
Last week the level was at 13 and I tried some of the alternate routes for the first time, ex "Magical Mystery Tour" which turns out to be an excellent level for beginners (I was with a bunch of Carleton U co-eds) and all of the gnarly macho stuff ex "Little Trickle" can be circumvented  with easy class III stuff.
I am so lazy that I might repeat the process if I can find someone to be lazy with. Martin actually walked back and ran McCoys twice & No-Name twice, (The second time on No-Name, the boys had a race).
