A quick and dirty video of my Sunday paddling. This includes my very FIRST surf on Garb!

Just to say that it was great to see all you familiar faces on the river!
Till the next paddle!

Cheers,

My revised plan are to arrive Saturday and leave the same evening. It's only going to be a one day thing for me this weekend. See you guys and gals tomorrow.

I am wondering how much the clinic would cost?

If you have to ask, you can't afford it....;)

Ah Richard, this very kind of you.  Unfortunately I can't make it Saturday for the middle. Anabelle, my eldest is currently on a little vacation trip with her grandma and she won't be back home before the middle of the afternoon Saturday.  This is when I will be joining you all at River run and hopefully catch up with a few willing partners to hit Garb for a late surf.   8)

I have registered both girls on a raft for Sunday though and given that they both barely cross the minimal 50 pounds required to sit on a raft, I am guessing they will run the middle channel.  I will follow them in my Kayak.  So if you want to paddle the middle channel Sunday instead, I will be more than happy to have company.  :)

I though baby-sitting my girls would help Mart's French.  ::) He did not speak a word last time on the way back from PB, I think the energizer bunny he was, indeed, tired.   ;)

Don't worry about the kids Cindy, I am Martin's uncle & told him that he can go paddling with you at Garb, and I will take care of the kids. I am experienced in babysitting and keeping kids entertained, as I have 3 daughters & 4 grandchildren. Also I plan on doing the middle on Saturday so if it's OK with you would love to join you guys. What time are you going for ?

Hi, I will be there with my 2 dauthers, they are 9 and 6.  My plan is to put them on a raft Sunday and go down middle channel with them in my kayak.  Anyone else would be interested in sharing a raft?
Since Martin kindly accepted to baby-sit the girls for an hour or two Sarturday evening at river run, I will need a paddling partner to hit Garb.   8)
I really can't wait!!! This wave is awesome.

Ya - I'm in.

Also - since a few people expressed interest in another playboating clinic with Billy Harris, I emailed him and he said he would be available Saturday,  2PM at Pushbutton.   Let me know ASAP if interested; if we get 3 participants we're a go!
