Hi Ryszard, and everyone else!

I'd be very interested in coming paddling on Sunday -- doing the middle would be great, but I'd be up for the main too, if that's the option.

Alas, my challenge is in getting there: I won't have a car, and I'll be at my cottage in Sand Bay, Quebec.

Sand Bay is across the Portage du Fort dam (the dam and bridge on the Ottawa just below the white water region (between the white water region and Renfrew), and a bit downstream. 

(Google maps's directions (http://goo.gl/maps/Gsqw) suggest 50 minutes from River Run to my cottage, but I have a hard time believing that!)

If some intrepid soul(s) could see their way to pick me up and drop me off at the end of the day, I'd be very grateful!

(If you were coming up the Ontario side that morning, It'd be a short deek from where Storyland Road crosses the Cheneaux Rd.  And if you were coming up on the Quebec side, it'd be an even shorter deek along the way!)

I mgiht come up for a day or two! Id like to find a Dynamic Duo to take a friend down so if anyone knows where I can rent one, holler at me!

I am taking my nephew & CJ for a 3 night 4 day camping trip to Riverrun this coming Thursday to Sunday.

The format is simple, paddle Main or Middle in the morning then take a break & do park & play in the late afternoon at either Lorne's or McCoys.

If anyone wants to join us then we will be having the Riverrun breakfast which is from 8 to 9 am, so expect to be at the put-in for 9:30 for Friday, Saturday & Sunday mornings.
 
Expect to be at the put-in on Thursday after setting up campsite, around 11 am.

We have 3 cellphones with us, CJ 613-809-1712,  Martin 613-809-2550 & Ryszard 613-513-4056 (Wife's phone comes up as Sheila Green) so let us know if you plan on coming.

Also either Saturday or Sunday I will be dead tired trying to keep up with Martin & CJ, so  I don't mind doing a relaxing Middle channel trip, so if any beginners wish to come along then let me know and I will happily go with you.
