About as low as 10 cms. I mean... I wouldnt drive 1:30 to get there for the Seuil Elizabeth Section only at this level but its still a nice scenery fun relax run! Anywhere over 40 cms is great class 3-3+ run!  :)

Thank you Jean-Nicolas. Will wait a bit more before trying to run the falls :).
What is the lowest water level do you think the seven sister section (not waterfall) can be run?

Yes it is! From the Family Rapid all the way down! Its all shallow class 2, apart from Seuil Elizabeth, Slice and Dice and the Washing Machine. Those are all fun with different lines and awesome boofs that are all class 3.

The seal launch is nice and high. And the 7th Sister is class 3+ -4. Its a rocky slide so keep your head dry if you dont want to break bones... But its easy learn forward and brace kind of slide. We all ran it blind and it all went fine!

Hi!
I have a question about the 7 sisters (not the waterfall) but the upstream section. Recommended water level is 20. It is at 17 right now. The level may go down even more in the coming days. Is the section still runnable/fun about 15-17?
Thank you.

Emmanuel

Yeah, I'll get right on that... when I'm 90 so that I've lived a full life first. ;)

I am officially a proud owner of a Dagger Nomad 8.5 (Red). Combine this with my Kokatat dry suit + my recent SRT training, and boy am I ready to head out there! So J-N, if you do go out on the 8th, please let me know. I'm definitely interested and the Dubai thing sounds like it won't happen.

Looks a lot more interesting than the Gatineau (except for surfing l'Agneau de Dieu... and my new line at Corbeau). 17 m3/s is a nice level! Wouldn't mind going too later in September. --C.

As I recall there is no keeper there, 2 of us ran it, one about 40 seconds after the other, first guy (me, I think) just waited at the bottom for the second guy. No problems.

Your second pic, is that number 4? If so, the second throw bagger (the one inthe sun, Martin, maybe?), why is he there?? Unless there is an eddy there I can't see, that is totally pseudo safety, as there is no where to "pengelum" a swimmer to.
Just an observation

It was CJ. There is somewhat of an eddy there! Asides from where Richard was where photo #1 was taken..theres not really a "good" safety point for this drop. Either way, it flushes pretty easily! Richard messed it up as much as you can mess up this drop and fell into the slot...Got 6 second downtime in his boat and popped back up 15 feet below! Its intimidating but the easiest to line up of you ask me.

I destroyed my finger with a hammer this weekend, so I have to keep it dry right now, while it heals.

But, I have a cabin rented on the ottawa from the 8-16 of september with some friends, and we want to go run the rouge at least once while they are here.
