So looks like Martin & I are in for Sunday, we have decided not to go on Saturda  because of cold bad weather, but Sunday looks good. So if anyone wants to carpool we have an extra space in the car.

Best surfing below Garvin's is between 16 - 18 ft. on the gauge

I will let everyone know the level on Saturday and then we can decide.

Does anybody want to carpool?  We could meet somewhere in Aylmer?

14-16 is PRIME for the middle!  Angel's Kiss, Butterfly, Garvin's, Upper, and Big Smoothie are ALL amazing at that level!

By 17 you've lost eddy service at Angel's Kiss; and Garvin and Smoothie have flushed.  LNN is getting less exciting though much easier.

By 21 I seem to recall Buttefly flushing, and LNN is almost completely flushed as well.

If the level holds 17, we should go watch the pros surf Mini bus for a bit, and then take a relaxed run down the middle.

If the level drops, we should run the middle with the intention of kicking ass and chewing bubble gum.

...and unlike Jeremy, I don't bring bubble gum when I paddle.

The middle at a high flow is fun! Always! Especially if the waves at the bottom of Garvins are in, but I can't remember what level that happens at.
Just my 2 cents, but I've never not had fun on the middle over 10

I say you decide on Saturday evening.
The Rouge could also be the plan, but if everyone says the the middle will be fun, lets do it!

The group that goes on Saturday can tell us what level to expect for Sunday.   8)

The level came down a few inches today, and all the big boys were freaking out about how minibus was PERFECT.  There is also speculation that the level will be down to around 14 on Sunday, based on the duration that minibus has been in.

I suspect the middle channel will be an enjoyable run.

With minibus on the high end my guess is the ottawa is at 18-19 and going up. Quite high and flooded for a middle run... Rouge at a 100 is challenging!

Yep. I'm trying to find a way to retire and travel the world on my sail boat and paddle everywhere. Anyone wants to sponsor?

I'm working on it, Paul.
Vero, I know, and it sucks! But no one will pay me to sit at home, and go kayaking...until then, its work
