Salmon river access is the same as last year like Jeremy mentioned...at least 20 minutes extra of flatwater but parking isn't an issue.  For next year, we're going to ask WO to get involved to work out a better put-in but for now, it's at the bridge. We will have all the put-in and take-out info on the Saturday morning.

If you've got a good roll, I'd go for the Beaver... one of favourite spring runs (Upper Pet being the best!)

It wasn't bad last year getting into it.

a bit of a flatwater paddle, but nothing crazy.

as for access, I have no clue...

*** Update ***
If you are planning on coming to M.A.C.K.fest, we will be meeting at Bunkers Hideaway (www.bunkershideaway.ca) on Saturday, April 6th at 8h30am and festivities at night will be there as well. It is just a few minutes off of Highway 7 and they're eager to have us. They are letting use their batting cage and driving range for free, as well as beach volleyball court, camping and shower facilities! Water levels will be spectacular, these are great spring runs. Brett and I won't be at Kip this year so it would be great to see those familiar faces...
Just don't expect our club president to arrive in a helicopter like the Montreal club did at the Kip last year...lol

Hi everyone, Bonjour a tous!

My name is Emanuelle (Manny) and I'm part of the Kawartha Whitewater Paddlers (www.kwpclub.ca) and every year, we put on a spring festival just north of Belleville called M.A.C.K. Fest ( short for Marmora Area Canoe and Kayak ). We're trying to get more clubs involved as it is a great season opener with rivers that range from class II to V ( Salmon-II, Beaver-III/IV, Black- III/IV and Crowe-IV/V )

Please visit our website with all the details at www.mackfest.ca and send me an email if you have any questions!

April 6-7th!

Silent auction, amazing raffle, gear swap and live entertainment!
