Im no scientist but I used to cook meth.

I think its safe to use a bit of paint thinner...sure ainto gonna melt or weaken the plastic... Ive used it on my villain to remove duct tape glue.

Okay, I got rid of the insect hive living in the boat, removed the decals, pluged the holes in the happy seat and fixed the hip starps straps. Not bad in a day's work. Now the last thing to do is to remove the sprayed on (accidently it looks like) over the counter black spray paint (I'm thinking acrylic) marring the otherwise top of the pristine hull (can't really see it on the pic, more at the front of the boat). This boat is crosslink plastic and I don't want to weaken it, so I'm not sure what chemical if any , turpentine or otherwise?, I could use to get the paint off the top of the hull. Elbow grease did nothing, a car wash did not help either.....  ::)

Anyone have any suggestion?

Is there a scientist in the house:)?

Thanks,

Paul :o
