Looking for some people to paddle the UMiss.  Proposing to meet at the Petro Canada in Sharbot Lake at 10 a.m.  There is no gauge for this river however, I have paddled it 4 times already this year and it is very high right now.  Anyone interested?

Hi Gweene, we won't be able to join you on the UMiss this Thursday unfortunately.  :'(  Another time perhaps, thank you for the invite! Cheers.

Wish I could join, I really want to do this river. Its only 20 minutes from my house.

Do you guys not work?

I take a day off here and there to do this stuff so I can spend some quality time with my family. You know, shopping, cleaning, lawn cutting, pool cleaning, laundry....you know, quality time. lol

It is doable in a play boat but river runners/creekers are better.  There are is one creeky section that there is no place to roll.  We will scout each section and safety first.  It is a fun river and really high last week.

Perfect thanks! I'll get back to you soon.

Next Thursday I have a dr's appt in the a.m.  I could meet you at noon instead of 10a.m.  Let me know if this would work for you.

Can I get back to you on Monday? I'll talk to my other paddling buddies to see if they would be interested, I know they were talking about doing the Middle but if we were to do the Upper with someone who knows the river that could change. I know I would be interested, I've always liked creeking more than big water anyways. Gimme a day or two.  Oh, just a question, a bud of mine only has a playboat (he is very experienced though)...is that section doable in a playboat?
