Heheh.  In that case there were at least 2 people schmucked by rafts in Phil's that day.  The other  I believe was from a group of 10 or so girls down from the Guelph area.  Her description sounded just like the video looked (well, I guess there are only so many ways to be hit by a raft in Phil's  :P)

If I am not mistaken, that is me, Kevin and Lariza 'running' Phil's.  Lariza says that it looks worse than it actually was.  She was fine and had a great day.

Our group talked to that girl that got schmucked by the raft later in the day (or maybe it was one of a half dozen other people who had the same thing happen).  Needless to say she wasn't happy.  I don't think she knew what happened at least immediately. She tried to roll up, couldn't, waited, tried again, couldn't, didn't want to swim and waited yet again, then finally she came free of the raft as seen in the video.

Now normally I'd blame the raft guide just out of principle, but in this case I can't understand any of the 3 kayakers trying to punch through the meat of Phil's with rafts poised just above ready to run.

I would like to go. I have this creek boat I borrowed that I would like to try out. Not that a creek boat is needed. If I can get the skirt on it and get it to fit. Are people carpooling?
