I contacted Jim Coffey at Esprit with respect to Swiftwater Rescue courses.
They offer two courses:
1) Rescue for river runners - recreational (2 days) $240 per person;
2) Rescue for river runners - professional (2 days) $240 per person.
There are a couple of options. Regardless, we get a club discount of 20 percent. So our cost is $240 per person per course (instead of $299).
1) If we do it privately, as a club, we need a minimum of 8 people ($240 per person per course); otherwise,
2) we can join their classes for the same price ($240).
We don't have to take both courses.
The classes will most likely take place at Lower-No-Name. There is camping and meals (not included) at Lower-No-Name.
There are classes running in July, July 20-21 Recreational and July 27-28 Pro, if I am not mistaken. Classes should run into September.
If you are interested let me know!
