The Algonquin Radio Observatory has been repaired and is going to be used again for research, examining pulsars using VLBI, or Very Long Baseline Interferometry: The signals from two such antennas, one in Canada and another in Europe, can be combined to form a signal comparable to an antenna the size of the distance between the two dishes, i.e. 1000 km versus 50 m.
For us this means the possibility of a tour of the facilities, and improved roads too, as we use the acess roads to go to our put-in.
