Topic: Rouge 7 sisters - PUT IN - TAKE OUT ?

I've called the Camping - Chutes des Sept-Soeurs for info. They are closed for the season now but someone will be there to let us through the gate Thursday morning.

If anyone else wants to join us, please feel free to contact me. We are planning to be at the take-out for 8 h30 am. We are planning an early run since we all have to be home by 5 pm. Cheers.

If you plug the co-ordianates that Bill provided for the previous Monday adventure, you will arrive at that location or close enough.

The map on Quebec whitewater is not very accurate or detailed, but does provide enough information.

there are 2 takeouts.
The "preferred" takeout is upstream of the hwy 148 bridge and on river left.
If you move the little "google" man a bit east, look north you will see a parking lot.
Someone there will take your money for parking.
Why is it preferred? More friendly than option 2.

The 2nd option is the campground as John mentions.

Past the bridge on the left is the take out camp spot! If you bomb down.. Id say an hour. Scouting and portaging the falls... Make that at least 3.

J'aimerais ?norm?ment faire la Beaver avec vous samedi!!!  Malheureusement j'ai de la difficult? ? me trouver un weekend de libre pour faire de la descente cette ann?e c'est pourquoi que je fais mes descentes de rivi?re en pleine semaine!     Je vais essayer tr?s fort de me trouver au moins une journ?e de weekend d'ici la fin d'octobre pour faire de quoi avec vous autres c'est s?r!!  Merci pour les infos!  Je planifie de faire les 7 soeurs jeudi prochain avec un copain alors si jamais ?a t'int?resse ou tu connais quelqu'un qui veut la faire avec nous n'h?sites pas ? me contacter!!  ? plus Sindy!!  Amusez-vous bien aux States!!

Francois, tu peux mettre ? l'eau sur le chemin de la rivi?re rouge, tu passes les compagnies de raft, le rapide familiale et tu stationnes devant la maison(la seule maison ? gauche), il y a un stationnement et un camping. . Il est ?crit qqchose comme stationnement pour les ckevm. Il faut que tu paies ? la maison. 5$.

I was wondering if someone could tell me the best place to put-in and take-out for the 7 sisters. I've never done that section...I have heard of a camping being used for take-out as well as Azur Rafting for put-in. Are these the best places? Thanks.
