I'm in. This is really, really annoying/frustrating, but does someone have a large dry suit I could borrow just this once? I've gained weight this past winter (yes, I know... I was lazy and like eating a lot) and now my medium sized dry suit is really, really, really tight. I can get into it, but it's uncomfortable and limits my mobility. I have another one on order but it isn't here yet (should be within a week or two).

What time will you guys be off the river?

I need to be around my house for 5 or earlier.

I planned to hit blakeney during the day, but if this is a shorter trip I might go with you guys.

Hi folks,

After discussions and phone calls and reading river gauges, we're planning to run the Mississippi & Carp.
This is the same trip we did 2 years ago when Mother Nature forgot to send winter to us...
We'll run the Mississippi first and head over to the Carp after.

Plans are to meet at the Kanata Park & Ride at 10:30 and be at the Mississippi takeout by 11:30

Kanata Park & Ride:  GPS   45.318536, -75.884113

Mississippi takeout:   GPS   44.973179, -76.406329

Carp put-in:    GPS   45.439118, -76.178534

Both rivers are class II-III but are running high so the usual caveats about spring paddling and cold water gear apply...
