Great party and excellent bites everybody! I'll have to look forward to sampling the new prez's homebrew another day though.

In case anyone picked it up, I spazzed before leaving and left behind a black sweater. It is a bit ratty looking but it is also smart wool. It's owner is not so smart though as this is the 2nd time in a month that he has misplaced it. So if you have seen it please let me know.

Well, you can always, but we'd have to partake of it outside of the building on the sidewalk, dodging police cruisers etc. Now, I do have a friend who owns a house around the corner on McLaren, who would not be against trying your beer...

Maybe we can set up a prisoner exchange, cold war style? One bottle of 'american' mead for a few bottles of 'russian' beer...

I am assuming the pay bar means I can not bring any of my beer?

Hi!

Just to make sure, will it be ok the bring slow cooker for hot food? Is it better to bring extension power cord?

Annie
It's ok to bring a slow cooker, an extension cord would be good idea too.

Hi folks,

The Club will be having its Fall Party and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, November 15, 2014 starting at  6:00pm.
As usual, it will be a potluck dinner so bring your favourite(s) to show off and share with others. Plates and cutlery etc. will be provided.

Given the overflow turnout we had last year, we've decided to move the AGM to a larger venue.
This year we're holding the AGM at the Montgomery Legion in the Lower Hall (go down the flight of stairs from the front entrance)
330 Kent St. Ottawa, On.
Corner of Kent and MacLaren

GPS Co-ordinates: 45.413967,-75.698248

Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) must be purchased at the cash bar which is also opened at 6 PM
There are dart boards set up but bring your own darts.

Bring along the videos you'd like to share, we'll have a laptop/tv combo set up to view them on.

As always, we'll have prizes for the best/worst/longest paddle/swim, most improved etc. so bring your stories to nominate those deserving of these great honours...

Please bring your cheque book (of course, cash is never refused) to renew your membership.
The online registering system for pool sessions will be enabled.

Last but not least, there will be some positions on the executive that need to be filled so please think about nominating someone (or yourself) to help run your club. Most of the current executive has decided to stay on. Bill and Luc have decided to step down.
